New single of Serene Humayun “DIL JANIYA ft. Dj.Shadow” is out!

DUBAI singer/songwriter Serene Humayun is currently promoting her new single ‘Diljaniya Remix Serene ft. DJ.Shadow’ that came at around new year time in Jan 2014. The song will be available on iTunes shortly.

The single sees Serene team up with DJ.Shadow this time for the remix version of the original composed by Dilshad Shaikh was released earlier in March 2013.

Serene told DesiFreeTV:

“I would say the song practically wrote most by itself. As Dilshad was playing the melody, the words started just flooding into my head. I just knew I wanted to write a song where the girl has fallen in love at first sight. Dilshad helped me with the transition from the verse to the bridge of the song and also sang few male lines in beautiful harmony”

The vocals were recorded here in Dubai at a local Music Production house and were mixed and mastered in Bombay in Dilshad’s own studio

A video was then put together by Binu Pallickal with his team in Dubai
featuring Dubai based Model Essam Ali, who is also recognized for his great resemblance in looks with the bollywood actor John Abraham. The song is gradually releasing on all social media, television and FM channels of Pakistan.

As for her upcoming releases Serene says “My very next song JAANE-JAANA is almost ready and will be out in few months time, and followed by that will be my next song which is exceptionally close to my heart and I am too excited for its making for which the plans have already begun”
